2026 UPA-A Certification

UPA-A Certification is required for all professional events at PPA and MLP. Professional events include all pro divisions at PPA and MLP tournaments, including PPA Challenger Series, PPA Pro Qualifiers, PPA Tour Asia, PPA Europe, and all PPA and MLP events in Australia.

Paddles must have the UPA-A stamp, model number printed on the paddle and be listed on the UPA-A Approved Paddle list.

The amateur competition will accept the UPA-A certification standards, but it is not mandatory for play as long as the paddle has USAP certification and is currently on the USAP Approved Paddle List.

2026 Fees:

Annual $10,000 (per brand)
– Annual fee prorated for new brands
Each paddle $3,000 (valid for 24 months and takes 8-weeks)
Expedited service $2,500 (4-weeks)
Super Expedited $7,500 (2-weeks)
Re-Submission fee for failed paddle $2,000
