Provisional Approval

Starting September 1, 2025 all paddles played at the professional level of UPA events will require UPA-A Certification. Each paddle must be submitted and tested in order to be eligible. Each model, thickness, length, weight, shape, handle type, or other physical attribute that can change performance must be submitted.

Fees: $2,000 per paddle* Plus $1,000 for paddles submitted after November 15, 2024.

*Please Note: design or aesthetic differences do not require testing, but must be documented by filling out the Paddle Design Registration Form
